Welcome to Beautiful Longboat Key in Sarasota
Paradise could not be better defined than the 10 mile long barrier island that is Longboat Key. From the historic original village at the north end to the palatial estates scattered up and down Gulf of Mexico Drive. With fabulous restaurants and shops, Longboat Key is surrounded by the bay to the east and the Gulf of Mexico to the west. Watching the sunset from any point on the miles of white sandy beaches is an unforgettable experience. Longboat Key is the most upscale of the islands to the north and south.
Anna Maria Island is the barrier key to the north. Boasting one of the area’s largest public beaches, it consists of many restaurants, shops, water sports and nightlife.
Siesta Key to the south is recognized for having the best sand in the world. It’s fine, white, cool to the touch and feels like powdered sugar between your toes. It was scientifically proven that Siesta Key has the whitest, softest sand in the world at the Great International White Sand Beach Challenge in 1987.
Getting to M. Weston Non-Surgical Hair Restoration and the M. Weston Educational Center
Our Center is easily reached from the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. It is suggested that students take the southern route, over the bridges and north on Gulf of Mexico Drive. You may rent a car at the airport or take a taxi.
As described by the airport: “Everything about Sarasota Bradenton International Airport is designed for your convenience. Our spacious terminal allows you to move about smoothly and easily, without stress or hurry. Airline ticketing, baggage claim, and other services are steps away from the main concourse, and both the short and long-term parking lots are adjacent to the main terminal. Check-in lines at SRQ are much shorter than at mega-airports, and there are no long lines of planes stacked up for take-off or landing. You’ll appreciate these advantages as you fly right through our easy, convenient terminal.”
As you approach Longboat Key, you will pass through charming St. Armands Circle, a hub of elegant shopping and dining. Not only will you find contemporary architecture of distinction, you will enjoy superb exclusive shops, art galleries, exotic boutiques, sophisticated restaurants and nightlife. While you’re here, try to visit the center of St. Armand’s Circle to see The Circus Ring of Fame, a “sidewalk of circus stars.” A must for any kid at heart. Or, if you are more the romantic type, treat yourself to a special view by a horse-drawn carriage.
You will cross the bridge onto Longboat Key, proceeding north on Gulf of Mexico Drive. Driving approximately five miles past meticulously groomed and magnificent Gulf front estates, golf courses and Resorts, you will reach M. Weston Non-Surgical Hair Restoration Educational Center on the right hidden behind lush tropical landscaping in the Centre Shops.
